Design Concepts
Glamping Tents
Alaya International delivers the tented structures and Interiors anywhere in the world and can help with the installation in a day (Independent energy and water supply systems can be provided seperately). Displaying a classic-oriented design, these luxury tents exude romance and colonial- era decadence, and made earthy tone high quality fabric, perfectly blend- in with the natural surroundings, It eventually calls “home”. Rest assured these safe and secure structures weigh more than a tone and can withstand extreme loads, humidity, sun, torrential rains and winds of upto 175 Kms/hr.
Recyclable premium materials include galvanised and powder coated metal frames and 4 protective layers, all water, insects and fire resistant. A bio-climatic design ensures maximum comfort and low energy use; textile panels generates solar power, while an integrated cooling system makes air conditioning obsolete. Energy and water can be generated directly from the nature, so go off-the-grid in style.
Reclaimed Wooden Houses/ Gazebos
Alaya International strives to excel in maintaining eco-friendly projects by creating high-heart standards in building traditional wooden houses with reclaimed teak wood, Bengkerai wood and Iron wood.
The various wooden structures off- beats any modern structure because of its unique design and elegant look. It can withstand any weather conditions because it is dried and naturally treated under the sun. It does not expand or contract as it has zero moisture content. The roof of the wooden houses can be provided with wooden shingles or thatch.
Bamboo Structures
Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on the planet. It grows at 2inches per hour, some species grow one and a half meters a day. Bamboo can be harvested in 3 to 5 years vs 10 to 20 years for other soft wood. Bamboo is an exotic and naturally beautiful material, can be utilized for many useful products. Certain species of bamboo have a tensile strength of 28000/sqinch vs 23000 for steel. It is stronger than steel.
Treated bamboos are a better option for strong, durable, long-lasting and eco-friendly building material choice. Alaya International sources quality-treated bamboos for their projects. We also use high quality natural thatch sourced from several parts o Asian countries and are pioneer craftsmen, weave and install the thatch on the roof.
